The ceremony lasted less than an hour and took place outdoors, in front of the mausoleum, the most exclusive part of the cemetery. The ceremony had restricted access only for close family and clan of Jackson. But this did not prevent hundreds of journalists to gather in front of the gates of Forest Lawn, in the hope to get few shoots.

20 limousines started at 19:00, in Los Angeles, to Forest Lawn Cemetery Glendale. Although the Jackson family was escorted by police, all travel lasted about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, dozens of celebrities already were waiting at the cemetery, and about 400 journalists bustled behind locked gates.

Celebrities’ Forest Lawn Cemetery was turned on this day into a real fort. To be sure that ceremony for Michael Jackson will remain private, the artist’’s family has requested and obtained that helicopters do not fly around cemetery and surrounding area, during the funeral.

Although the guest list is secret, the police were trained for approximately 150-200 guests, all close friends and collaborators of artist.

A few days ago was revealed that megastar family has purchased 12 burial places, just to not found which one is for Michael Jackson‘’s lifeless body.
As for fans, were asked, as at public ceremony at Staples Center, to stand aside and leave his family to say goodbye to Michael as an ordinary man. However, whole groups of people gathered in front of safety barriers, hoping to see the stars.
One of the artist’’s brothers said that three children of Michael, Prince, Paris and Blanket will sneak a few posts in the coffin of their father, including: “Dad, we love you” or “We miss you.”
